Larger Artwork described as on "cradled panel" delivered with contemporary museum wrap (unframed). Borders are painted either Grey, Black or are stained with a natural wood finish, depending on a client's preference.

Note that any original artwork can be delivered "cradled" or "framed" depending upon a client's preference. Please do not hesitate to contact the Studio if there are questions about either presentation format and options with regard to presentation formats.

 

Artwork Available for "Presale"

 

Artwork is offered for presale immediately after completion of the painting, however impasto oil paintings take months to dry. Once a painting dries, it is varnished, and hanging hardware is attached and it is ready to ship. The option to purchase a work during presale gives a collector the ability to acquire a piece "hot off the easel", but who is able to wait for the painting to dry to receive shipment

(generally 2 to 4 months after first posted).

 

International Sales

 

International sales are accepted and shipped per U.S. Export Law requirements. A commercial invoice is provided with the shipment. Buyer (Importer) is responsible import duty and taxes, which are paid at time of import or delivery. Tax and Duty can be estimated via the link below. In many countries, the importation of fine art is a duty free transction (Canada for example). Note that some shippers charge a transaction fee over and above the tax and duty rate.

Commissions

 

Commissions are available to private and commercial parties. Commissions require a non-refundable 20% deposit. Upon completion of the commission, the client has the option of withdrawing from the transaction or completing the purchase. The artist reserves the right to resale any commission not purchased by the originator. Note that some commission subject matter may not be considered if not consistent with the artists style, technique, and portfolio (e.g. the artist does not typically accept portrait commissions). Arlon currently has a backlog of commissions equal to 3-4 months. Also please factor in that it typically takes 3 to 4 months for a painting to dry once complete. It is not uncommon for a commission to take 6-7 months from time of request to delivery.

 

Limited Edition Prints

 

Limited Edition Giclee' Prints are printed on archival quality paper and are hand signed and numbered by the artist.

Prints are shipped rolled in a protective shipping tube.

Lay Away

 

Lay Away is an option for acquiring a piece of artwork through the artist. Terms for Lay Away are:

 - Initial Non-Refundable Deposit equal to 20% of the purchase price

 - Three equal payments for the remaining balance, due the 30th, 60th and 90th day from the initial date of lay away. Payment in full must be received 90 calendar days from the date of the lay away.

 - In the event of withdrawal from Lay Away, Payments excluding the initial deposit will be returned.

The 20% initial deposit is non-refundable.
