2. a person legally bound through indenture to a master craftsman in order to learn a trade.

 

Artist Arlon Rosenoff is seeking a part time artist apprentice.

 

Opportunities:

 - Paint with Arlon Rosenoff in his studio

 - Learn to make painting panels from raw materials

 - Learn to prepare panels for painting

 - Learn to finish artwork to make gallery ready

 - Learn to do framing and cradling of artwork

 - Learn to develop and maintain own artist website

 - Learn to market and sell artwork

 - Learn to work in a gallery setting

 - Show artwork in Arlon Rosenoff Fine Art Gallery

 

Commitments:

 - Have regular access to work in South Whidbey Island

 - Commitment of 6 months

 - Work approximately 10-12 hours/week (schedule flexible)

 - Work with others

 - Work alone (unsupervised)

 - Perform work in all areas of trade

 - Not share trade secrets

 - Sign a written agreement
